Billing and coins
Breno is paid for with coins, not a subscription: what costs coins, what is free, the packs in dollars and naira, the starter grant, and refunds.
Breno has no subscription and no per-seat price. A workspace holds coins and spends them on the operations that cost something to run. The current prices are on the pricing page; this page explains how coins work.
What is free#
Reading, searching and viewing what the workspace already holds is free, always. Using what you own is never charged.
What costs coins#
| Operation | Cost |
|---|---|
| Asking a question in chat | 1 coin, plus the model's cost above a threshold |
| Adding a document | 1 coin per page started |
| Anything else that spends a model call | The model's cost plus a margin, shown before it runs |
A request the wallet cannot cover is refused before it runs, so an empty balance never turns into a charge you did not agree to. An import shows its estimated cost and asks you to confirm a large one first.
The first hundred coins#
Every new workspace is granted 100 coins (one dollar's worth) when it is created. No card, no trial expiry. Coins never expire, and they are not tied to a billing period.
Buy coins#
Owners, Super admins and Admins can buy under More, then Billing.
| Rail | How | Packs |
|---|---|---|
| Card, via Stripe | US dollars, one cent per coin | 500, 2,000, 5,000 and 10,000 coins |
| Paystack | Nigerian naira, as a separate price | 500, 2,000, 5,000 and 10,000 coins |
VAT of 7.5% is added as its own line on the naira rail at checkout and is never folded into the price shown.
What happens when coins run out#
The operations that cost something stop, with a clear message and a link to top up. Everything free keeps working, and nothing is charged retroactively.
Prices can change#
The rate card is expected to be tuned as real cost data arrives. A change applies to what you buy or spend after it takes effect; coins already in a wallet keep the value they were bought at.
Refunds#
Coins are a prepaid credit for using the service, not a currency or a deposit, and they do not transfer between workspaces. Purchases are refundable where the law requires it and where the coins have not been spent. See the terms or contact us.
Usage#
More, then Usage shows what your workspace has used.
